AUDITIONS FOR SECOND OBOE AND FOURTH HORN
All applicants will need to play all excerpts indicated and prepare a movement from a concerto of their choice (unaccompanied). The first round of auditions will consist of excerpts to be performed behind a screen. If the applicant passes the first round, the second round will consist of more excerpts and the prepared solo. This round is usually held without a screen.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and the time of application. All expenses relating to the audition is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
The 2010 - 2011 season consists of 45 services for wind and brass positions. Each service currently pays $118.52.
